Solomon asked God for mental things. He said give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Because Solomon's thoughts were righteous, God gave him what he didn't ask for. God gave Solomon riches and honor.
So do what Solomon said;
Wisdom is the principle thing: therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Prov. 4:7 NKJV
Solomon didn't ask God to fill up his pockets. He asked God to fill up his head.
Wealth is a by product of Kingdom building.
When your thinking is correct, wealth is attracted to you.
When your thinking is correct, honor and favor will go before you.
So get wisdom, and if it costs you everything you have — get understanding.

The board's goal is to develop the former Fulton Elementary School lot, located at Fulton and Delaware Streets, and create a soccer field and walking trail. For details please go to the News Page.

Jesus defines giving not by the size of the gift but by the condition of the heart. Solomon asked the Lord for a discerning heart. God’s response was “Because you didn’t ask for wealth or the elimination of your enemies, I will grant your request, and kick in what you didn’t ask for.” God gave him wisdom, wealth, and a long life. Line your prayers up with what glorifies the Lord. Give Him your heart and not a handout.

He will answer your prayers and bless you with what you didn’t ask for.
Your Best Is Yet to Come
Your latter days will be greater than your past. The Bible declares “the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the glory of the former house” Haggai 2:9. You’ve been through some things and the enemy told you your best days are behind you. I’m here to call the devil a liar. Your problems don’t equal your promises and the devil’s no can’t compete with God’s Yes!
Your best days and your blessed days are before you.
Your best is yet to come!

In the End, You Win
After losing everything except his wife, Job struggled with God’s providence in his life.
God didn’t question Job’s righteousness.
His issue with Job was Job really didn’t know God at all. He only knew God through the lens of his lost possessions.
In the end God restored all Job had and much more.
Don’t belittle God over the losses in your life.
He’s bigger than that, and His providence dictates that in the end,
you win.
You're a winner, embrace it and walk in victory.
