One day on our return trip to Cairo, while driving between the girls' orphanage and the adult center, right in front of us was an SUV with CHRISTIAN written across the rear window. What an image with its Arabic license plate!
Amen to that driver and the public proclamation of their relationship with our Lord and Savior!
Praise God for those bold disciples. They exemplify what it means to follow Jesus’ instruction to us all to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
One of our joys was to be able to place a tarp in the courtyard of the orphanage so the young ladies can sit outside in privacy and comfort.
We thank God for going before us to Cairo and at every turn showing us His presence. What a wonderful God we serve.
The young lady in the blue top told board member Lorena Moore that she was going to be an actress and not to forget about her!
A computer lab is an important part of the adult day center.
Always great spending time with these sweet souls.
In Cairo, Egypt we met the wonderful day residents and staff of Safe Haven Adult Center where they make beautiful hand woven rugs and other household accessories.
The day center for challenged adults plans to build a soccer field on its property to rent for local games. That income will help with the center's expenses
We also visited an orphanage for teenage girls where the director explains they're sleeping on mattresses with no box springs and that there is a great need for a computer lab.
Here are some of the wonderful young ladies we met!
We got to meet a lot of nice people and spread some goodwill.
On this trip we were introduced to Los Mameyes Elementary School and Hogar de Ancianos Antonia Maria Claret, a home for senior citizens in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
On this trip we were able to provide the shoes, backpacks and school supplies.
Praise God!

This was our introduction to the wonderful children, teens and staff of Casa Nazaret, an orphanage in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The sweet souls, who face various challenges, live there under the care of Sister Mercedes.
With your generosity we were able to provide 10 wheelchairs, a new washer, shelves for storage and much more.
Sister Mercedes is the only mother most of these children have known.
We also visited an orphanage for teenage girls where the director explains they're sleeping on mattresses with no box springs and that there is a great need for a computer lab.
CCMI’s outreach to the Cuban government in April 2016, to assist Cuban orphans and subsequent meeting at the U.S. Embassy in Havana, was at the request and with the assistance of the U. S. State Department. Every effort was made to gain access to the orphans. Ultimately the Cuban government denied access and failed to keep their promise to negotiate a path forward.
Throughout South Africa, from Johannesburg, to Soweto, Cape Town and Paarl (in the western cape), there were opportunities to show the love of Christ.
We visited several schools where team members shared the importance of education and answered students' questions. Contributions included the creation of a computer lab in a local high school.
Sweet souls!
Sweet souls!
Sweet souls!
Sweet souls!
